Here I Am tells a love story for the modern age. Centered around social media, Here I Am is a story of forgiveness, belonging, hope, and societal pressures forced upon young women.

The show follows Scarlett as evaluates the relationships in her life, primarily with her 5-year partner, Spencer.

After best friend, Camryn, unknowingly causes her to doubt her security with Spencer, Scarlett begins to spiral to find a new safety net: Social Media.

As Scarlett struggles to balance her growing addiction to social media with the real people in her life, “Focus” takes over as we embark on a whirlwind of infatuation, passion and anxiety.

As Scarlett struggles to be everything for everyone, her world becomes dark and clouded. Can she find peace and a happy middle?

We are expected to be so much. How can we be strong enough to be alone, but open enough to love someone else?

How can we be confident enough to speak our mind, but shy enough to not offend?

It’s okay to not be okay. It’s natural to make mistakes, but who can decide if we are deserving of love after?

Here I Am

“Each time you go, each time I know, with you the party it goes.”

Here I Am

“Can you spend everyday from now on with me? I know I’m not perfect, but for you, I’ll try to be.”

Here I Am

“I want to trust you, but I can’t keep spinning in circles again… How can I keep fighting for you to save me when you could break me down.”

Here I Am

“Sometimes I kind of get it, I guess? This fascination with social media stems from some other kind of need and ya can tell… it’s not all “puppy dogs” and “pregnancies”… Still, they seem pretty happy, don’t they? So maybe I want that.”
